For the first time in a good while that I can say that we're champions! We went on to clinch the Mid-West championship and the Super Endurance Cup. We had a crash during the initial stages of the race, but we managed to fix the car and got it back out and running despite everything. My teammate Dave, is alright, hoping for a speedy recovery on his part, and we should be ready for Watkins Glen within a month. But the biggest thing is that Dave is alright since we were worried for him.
Wanna give a huge thanks to @openthrottletrackdays for this weekend. They never gave up at all and while fixing the car, they stayed positive and confident. Now that we have two titles, we still have two more to go. I believe this is the team to do it and I'm glad that we're running with them.
Next race is at Watkins Glen in mid to late October, a new track for me but one that I've always wanted to race on. Until then, it's back to flying and being in school. Take care!
またチャンピオンになれて最高の気分だ。 私たちのチームは中西部地区とスーパー耐久カップのチャンピオンになった。 レース序盤にクラッシュがあったが、マシンを修復して完走し、両方のタイトルを獲得した。 チャンピオンを獲得するのは数年ぶりなので、最高の気分だ。
まだイーストとナショナルのタイトルが残っている。 でも、それを成し遂げられるチームがあるとすれば、それはオープン・スロットル・レーシングだ。 このレース後の彼らの決意は、本当に比類ない。
