Easily one of the craziest races I've ever done. It was a new track, a new car, and a big challenge ahead of me. I was trusted with a car that was leading the national championship in WRL and I answered the call as our team worked together to win the race after starting from first initially, dropping to last, and then climbing back up to take the gold. The 12 hours of Charlotte is complete and now we are leading 4 different championships all at the same time.
Wanna give a massive thank you to @openthrottletrackdays for trusting in me and helping me along the way. I'm thankful that you guys had trusted me with Fiona and I look forward to being in the car for the rest of the season. Let's shoot for a championship.
Next endurance race is at Road Atlanta, a home race for me, which I want to win. There's nothing more I could ask for with a win there since I've never had that chance. But I feel like this will be my best opportunity this year. Right now we're focusing on also getting my Spec-Miata up to speed as well for some races later on in the year. Until then, it's time to be on the sim, workout, and relax.
Take care guys!
